BAHAMAS MUSIC CONSERVATORY

JUNIOR ORCHESTRA FOR BEGINNERS

This orchestra is specifically aimed at musicians who are just beginning to learn to play an instrument.  It is open to anyone who is receiving tuition on an instrument.  They do not have to be getting their lessons at the Music Conservatory, but they do need to be receiving regular lessons.

The Junior Orchestra for Beginners is open to a wide range of instruments:  all the usual instruments of the orchestra, plus recorder, guitar, and a wide range of percussion instruments.

The orchestra will give musicians who are just starting out on their instrument an opportunity to perform in an ensemble.

Rehearsals are on Saturdays 10am - 11am

Cost:  $8 per week.

JUNIOR ORCHESTRA FOR INTERMEDIATE LEVEL PLAYERS

This orchestra is aimed at musicians who have been playing their instrument for at least a couple of years.  Musicians should be playing at grade 3 level or above for this orchestra.

This orchestra will give musicians an opportunity to experience performing in an orchestra and prepare them to join the Bahamas Concert Orchestra when they are ready.

Rehearsals are on Saturdays 11.30am - 12.30am

Cost:  $8 per week.
